Operating
The Lakehead Amateur Radio Club members use a variety of communications methods. Every licensed ham has the option of going into communications areas they are most interested in (and can and do change to others at any time!) Your Amateur Radio Licence level sets the levels and frequencies you can operate at.
VHF
The club operates several VHF repeaters in the area, giving extensive coverage.
UHF
Currently one club UHF repeater is operating in the area.
HF
There are countless ways a high frequency (hf) antennas can be made and utilized.
